There is a known problem with Windows Vista, with no estimated fix date. This a problem with the vendors drivers, not the web site software.
The HVMI camera software uses Active X for it's data stream. This is not supported by Firefox. Therefore you will need Internet Explorer to view the videos.
Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools/Internet Options/Trusted Sites/Sites un check "require server verification (https)", and then add www.hvmi.homeftp.net SeePicture 1 below Left) click on close.
Make sure trusted sites (green checkmark) is still selected and then click on custom level. When that window is upon scroll down to active x settings and match the settings in Picture 2 below right. Click Ok then Ok to close the Internet options box.
Close Internet explorer reopen it and go to www.hvmi.homeftp.net click on the warning message on top of explorer and allow the active x install. (Click OK)
Click on “Remote Live Viewer”. The 7 files will load (slowly). User and password are hvmi. You, then, should see a grid of videos. Click on any picture to enlarge. If you can’t get in try later as the number of viewers is limited to protect bandwidth, the viewer is on a timer for the same reason.
Always another disclaimer!: The above procedure has been beta tested with quite a few people with good success. But neither HVMI, nor the writer, bears any responsibility for changes made to your computer(s).
