FAQ - Marina Fuel Services
Q1.  What type of gasoline does the marina sell and why?
A1.   Non-Ethanol, Mid-Grade, 89 Octane Gasoline is sold in the marina.  Many older boats and newer outboard motors have parts which will degrade in ethanol-based fuels. CLICK HERE  for more information on ethanol fuels.
Q2.  What type of diesel fuel does the marina sell and why?
A2.  Red dyed non highway Diesel Fuel is sold in keeping with NC State Law.

Q3.  Who receives the revenue from the fuel sales?
A3.  Coastal Carolina Yacht Service (CCYS), who pays Pender Marine Holdings Inc. (PMHI) for the lease of the fuel dock and Fuel Sales Office.
Q4.  Who owns the fuel dock?
A4.  Pender Marine Holdings Inc. (PMHI)

Q5.  Does HVMI receive any revenue from fuel sales?
A5.  Yes, CCYS pays HVMI a fee from the revenue based on a per gallon sold basis.  This money is used by HVMI as an offset to the monthly contract fee paid to CCYS.
