A1.The trash is currently collected 5 days a week.It is sometimes collected more often during peak season and holidays. Q2.Is it my or HVMI’s, responsibility to keep the marina clean? A2.It should be the goal of every member to keep the entire area clean and neat. Q3.Why isn't it the responsibility of HVMI to keep each slip free of debris? A3.Some debris enters and leaves the marina on the tides. Large debris is removed by the Harbour Master when it is seen.Some debris and foam is a natural occurrence in any body of water. Q4.Does the marina have a recycling program?
A4.Yes, recycling containers are located in the marina. Recycling of aluminum cans and glass bottles is required by law.Please do not place any trash in the recycle containers.
